HOW TO JOIN INSTEP

Instep offers a range of classes suitable for all learners

Information about class prices and the range of classes is available from: instep@brockhill.kent.sch.uk

You will then hear from us as to which class to attend

Please bring your completed application form to the first session or you can obtain a printed form when you attend

Please let us know immediately if any of your contact details change after completion of the application form. We try and keep all contact paperless , via email , and so accurate details are important to effective communication.

If , in the case of a full class we are unable to start your child at Instep , we will add your name to the waiting list and let you know as soon as a place becomes available

We do ask all members, therefore to let us know if they no longer want a place.

Thank you ! We look forward to hearing from you ,

Jackie Mortimer Artistic Director

Contactless booking and payments and plans for future (Covoid 19)

Moving forward when Instep opens for classes we will follow this system:

We may be required to restrict the number we can teach based on social distancing and appropriate mitigation

So to manage this in a seamless and contactless way…There will be an online booking request form for you to make a request for a place in a class or classes

Once that’s completed then you will hear from us to confirm your place or to let you know if we are full in that class for this term

If you have been allocated a place (We hope to be able to accommodate all requests but this will depend on demand and available slots- we will prioritise returning Instep members )

You must then make online payment before the term starts or risk losing that place to someone on the reserve list

We are creating an online system for this and all class prices will be included on this site so you can see the fees for single classes , multiple classes and for sibling discounts available for three children or more .

If students want to maintain their place term on term they will be given priority to do that and any available places will then be offered to those on our waiting list

We hope as time goes by the number of students we can have in a class might go up as the risk of infection becomes less.

Bursary Places: I hope to be able to offer bursary places - this will depend on :

  • The number of students we can manage in a class and making that class viable in terms of paying for costs

  • Whether we can raise the additional funds to support offering discounts and free places.

Whilst this remains really important to me – I will also have to consider the funding Instep will need for the coming year

BUT : rest assured I will do EVERYTHING I can to make this possible and again I will give priority to returning Insteppers who had bursary awards last year -2019 into 20 ( as long as they can evidence their financial situation has not changed for the better !!)
